Assessment and Reporting

Ongoing / active and summative assessment of student progress is a feature of a modern learning program. Opportunities to observe this progress and to discuss assessment with the student’s parents are provided on a regular basis. Students with special needs may have an Individual Plan (IP) and teachers meet with parents on a regular basis.

A formal school report is sent home twice a year, usually towards the end of Term 2 and the end of the year.

Formal Parent/Teacher interviews are scheduled during Term 2. However interviews may be arranged at any time by parents or teachers especially where there is a concern.
